    Runtime Licesning

I think I'm confused.  How do I enter the multiple unique Runtime Licesnes into the individual images after I have created one master image.  I would like to do it via the FB reseal tool.  I see that the FB reseal tool can reset the SID's, but how do I give each image its unique Runtime License that will be stickered to each of the units.  I know I have to give the original master image one of the licenses, but I don't want the cloned images to all have the same key (or does that not matter as long as the sticker is a unique key to just that computer)??

My apologies for the rudamentary question, but MS is not the clearest with their online resources.

Once Again, I worked it out (should've seen it the first time).  I see that the Product Key is one key for all the images within that envelope.  I would like to know though, the deployment stickers. there is two stickers.  One is obviously the sticker that goes onto the unit (the long grayish one with the words "XP Embedded" on it).  The other is a square pink sticker, does that stay in our (the OEM)'s possession?

FORGET EVERYTHING ABOVE!!!   Now I've got a good question.  I have 25 computers to be deployed with identical images.  I have aout 25 minutes of added pieces to teh image before they get resealed and duplicated.  However, my licesnseing is for sets of 10 images per key.  Is there anyway to change the keys after they have been booted, or is it okay to have the same key on all 25 as long as they have a valid sticker attached?  I'd hate to have to go through the setup process 3 times for fear that they will not be identical if i miss a step.

    Hi Peter,

Yes, you can use the same PID for all the devices. The main thing is that each device has a COA attached. Also, if there is some concern about the sticker being removed, I believe you can stick it on the HDD inside the machine. If you have any licensing questions it is best to ask your distributor.
