    Hi kenshi,

Take a look at the FBA log in \Windows\FBA. Look near the end of the log for [FBAChangeDisplaySettings]. Maybe that will give you a clue why it's failing.

    Hi Kenshi,

Just a hunch, but I'm betting that the system tray applet for the Intel driver on a "first run" is resetting the display resolution to a default. Is it possible for you to diff the registry before and after you log in? This may be tough since the profile is being created when you log in the first time so the user.dat won't be there beforehand.

Kind of a chicken / egg scenario.

So, one thing that may work for you as a kludge is Qres: http://aksoftware.ne1.net/ Run it from the command line as a startup batch for your user. Or something like that anyway.

I have a system with that chipset here. I'll play around with it some over the weekend.
