    can anyone help me stop the autoplay window form comming up when i plug in a usb flash drive?

    You are looking for NoDriveTypeAutoRun under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer in the registry. If it isn't there create the value and set the data to one of the supported values lister here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/reskit/regentry/91525.mspx?mfr=true
